Meet the Staff
of Alpha Structural

David Tourjé, the Owner and Chief Executive Officer of the company, decided to specialize in foundation and hillside repairs due to the increasing demands for this type of work. He began in the construction trade in 1978. His focus was, from the beginning, on hillside construction and structural repair - becoming a journeyman carpenter and form setter. Mr. Tourjé constructed many high difficulty hillside homes during the 1980s and has underpinned or repaired over 5,000 damaged structures and slopes, inspecting, and evaluating over 10,000 properties.

Linda Tourjé is the Owner and Chief Financial Officer of Alpha Structural, Inc. Linda currently oversees all financial and administrative functions of the company and ensures smooth administrative operations.

Kyle, having grown up in the structural trade and working in the field on many diverse projects, has a unique ability to prescribe solutions for all types of problems. He has worked on and designed many different types of projects, including foundation repair/replacements, landslide remediation, soft-story retrofitting, commercial and industrial non-ductile and steel frame retrofitting. Regardless of the scope of work or size of the project, Kyle personally oversees the design of all repairs and upgrades for the properties he evaluates.

Max Oliva is the Executive Vice President of Operations, where he leads Alpha's commitment to top-tier quality across the entire company. With a strong grasp of both field operations and internal procedures, Max plays a key role in Alpha’s ongoing establishment and expansion. He is dedicated to client satisfaction, working closely with every department to ensure each client receives exceptional service and results.

Ben Reinhart is a marketing professional born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He has spent 7+ years at Alpha Structural, blending creativity with concrete solutions. When he’s not crafting campaigns, he’s busy reminding everyone that good marketing is like a strong foundation—it holds everything up! Ben believes in making work fun and thrives on collaboration, fostering an environment where ideas flow freely. His passion for building relationships extends to clients and colleagues alike. As he works to expand Alpha Structural’s services, he aims to reach even more communities throughout Southern California, ensuring that everyone has access to top- notch solutions for their needs.

Anwar is a hands-on leader with extensive experience of 27 years in planning, design, and inspection involving aviation, hospitals, schools, hotels, retail centers, restaurants, residential, soft stories and non-ductile concrete. He efficiently and effectively designs and manages projects from design development through detailed construction document phases. He brings a strong commitment to delivering quality work that meets client expectations. Furthermore, he has extensive experience with client interfacing and relationship management, with strong organizational, time management, supervision, and interpersonal skills.

Aaron has years of field experience as both a Laborer and a Foreman. His in the trenches experience is what enables him to design the needed repairs for any structural problems one may experience. He knows what it takes to get the job done. Aaron utilizes his years of field experience to design the most efficient and cost-effective solution to whatever issue he comes across in the field.

With over 14 years of experience in drafting and design, combined with hands-on experience working in the field here at Alpha Structural, Albert brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. Albert’s unique skill set enables him to help clients visualize their structural needs and develop effective repair designs. He has a deep understanding of the planning and design process and uses this knowledge to ensure that our clients receive the best possible solutions for their structural issues.

Brad Nestler is a Senior Structural Assessor for Alpha Structural, Inc. Brad has years of experience in structural repairs/upgrades to homes and specializes in foundations. Brad will inspect the property and design the most efficient solution while looking to save on construction costs. He oversees the design for all repairs and will work with the homeowner to ensure that their own goals for their property are attained.

Ken Crown started in the construction trade in 1987, working as a door installer for residential and commercial projects. In 1992, he was hired by an industrial engineering construction company, and from there, he worked his way up to carpenter foreman. After the Northridge earthquake and working on multiple projects requiring structural repairs and retrofits, he gained knowledge working with concrete masters and structural welders. Today, he uses his decades of hands-on expertise to keep projects running smoothly and efficiently.

Erinn Rusnak is a Structural Assessor for Alpha Structural, Inc. Erinn has years of experience in structural repairs/upgrades to foundations, hillside homes, retaining walls, waterproofing, drainage, and soft-story retrofitting. After being a foreman for years, he was promoted to a Structural Assessor due to his technical skill and ability to analyze the most efficient structural repairs for any given situation.

After graduating from the Engineering Department at California State University Los Angeles, obtaining his degree in Structural Engineering and earning his EIT certification, Samuel started working at Alpha Structural in 2016. He started as an EIT and worked his way to become the Director of Planning and Engineering before becoming one of our structural assessors. He has worked on many projects ranging from design to code-conforming retrofits. He uses his experience and knowledge to provide custom, value-engineer solutions that meet our client’s needs.

With over 35 years of hands-on construction experience, Damien brings a wealth of expertise to Alpha Structural. Raised in Portuguese Bend, CA—a region prone to landslides—his upbringing instilled diverse skills for addressing structural issues. From foundation work, retaining walls, drainage, and waterproofing, Damien's in-depth knowledge and experience make him invaluable, embodying our commitment to delivering effective and resilient solutions at Alpha Structural.

Aldo has over 17 years of in-the-trenches experience, from framing to working on the field crew here at Alpha Structural doing structural repairs/upgrades. He’s worked on retaining walls, waterproofing, decks and building new foundations, he can do it all. His eagerness to solve our clients’ structural issues push him forward to get the job done. When he encounters difficult builds, he knows he has the skills to develop the most efficient solution.

Growing up as the son of a contractor, Alfie gained hands-on experience in home building from a young age. With over 30 years in construction, he brings a wealth of technical construction knowledge to Alpha Structural. Starting as a Supervisor, now a Structural Assessor, Alfie combines his years of expertise and excellent customer service to design the right solutions for any project.

Chris grew up in construction, which sparked a passion that led him to work on projects across the world. Starting at Alpha in 2019 as a Foreman, he quickly rose to Project Supervisor and now serves as a Structural Assessor. With a wealth of experience, Chris is dedicated to delivering top-notch results, no matter the challenge.

David is a licensed civil engineer with over 25 years of experience; he started his career specializing in structural standards and compliance across both government and private sectors. At Alpha, he conducts structural observations for homes in escrow, helping clients gain a clear understanding of a property's condition before purchase. He also performs detailed damage assessments for more serious structural issues, providing formal engineering reports to document and evaluate the extent of the damage.

Markian has been designing and building custom hillside homes in Los Angeles for over 30 years. His background is a natural fit with Alpha Structural’s long-standing expertise in hillside construction. Now, as a Structural Assessor, his experience will help provide you with a solution for any structural repair including foundations, retaining walls, hillside stabilization, and more.

Steve grew up in construction, starting at 15 under his father. With 30 years of experience as a licensed general building and masonry contractor, he excels at delivering projects on time and within budget. His ability to foresee challenges, solve problems, and prioritize customer satisfaction makes him an essential part of our team.

Talin is a geologist with 14 years of experience spanning geology, environmental studies, geotechnical engineering, and construction. She earned her M.S. in Petrology in 2013 and has collaborated extensively with Certified Engineering Geologists and Professional Engineers on diverse projects. At Alpha, she applies her strong technical background, field expertise, and keen attention to detail to every assessment she does.

Dolores leads the Personnel Department at Alpha Structural, where she is passionate about growing the company’s staff to meet the demands of its expanding business. She believes that finding the right roles for individuals is essential, as supporting professional growth not only benefits employees but also strengthens the entire team. With a hands-on approach to personnel management, Dolores fosters a positive work environment that encourages everyone to thrive and contribute to Alpha Structural’s continued success.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Franchesca has a passion for creativity and results. As Vice President of Marketing, she has led strategic campaigns that highlight Alpha’s expertise in structural and foundation repair. Her leadership not only boosts the company’s visibility but also strengthens industry relationships, fueling Alpha’s continued growth and her team to consistently drive results.

Elmer Puac started with Alpha in 2016 and has moved up the ranks from foreman to his current position as Vice President of Production. Elmer oversees every project from beginning to end and ensures each job site is up to the Alpha Standard. As he directly oversees the job supervisors and foreman, he always is up to date on what the next steps are with every project. With years of experience in the trenches Elmer knows the best solutions for every situation because he has done it before.

As Vice President of Production at Alpha Structural, Lorena oversees projects from planning to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. With over eight years of experience as a drafter and project manager before joining Alpha, she brings a strong technical understanding to her role. She leads a large production team, coordinating closely with drafters and job supervisors to solve challenges and keep operations running smoothly.

With over 12 years of experience in Quality Control, Alan leads our Quality division. He ensures that company policies are exactly applied, upholding our consistently high standards across all projects. Alan is deeply committed to continuous staff training and improvement, and is passionate about exceeding customer expectations at every opportunity.

While many posts within the office have a more day-to-day function, Missy plans for the future of the company and our attainment of specific goals. Expansion is her objective and getting there requires expert planning, something she knows quite well. She also oversees legal points, so nothing falls through the cracks. Missy precisely steers the Alpha ship.

Joe helps design the most efficient solutions for our projects and is a true problem solver. Whether a project is in the design phase, or mid construction, Joe is there to make the job and everyone’s life easier. He began his journey with Alpha Structural in 2016 and has become an integral part of the day-to-day operations of the organization.

Daniel Aparicio is an associate engineer at Alpha Structural, Inc. with six years of experience in project management and structural design. Daniel is specifically responsible for leading one of the experienced design teams at Alpha Structural. This involves completing structural design projects on time, with structural repair/retrofit solutions that meet the needs of the clients and are practical to build. The goal for Daniel is to always strive for improvement and specialize in structural design with an interest in geotechnical engineering to fully master retrofitting existing buildings.
